Suede

Suede is a natural material that may develop subtle changes in tone over time, this is part of its beauty and charm.

  • Keep dry; avoid rain and never submerge in water.
  • If wet, blot gently with a dry cloth and air dry.
  • If exposed to water once dry lightly use a suede brush to restore texture.
  • Avoid direct contact with light coloured clothing against the suede as the dye can transfer.
  • Keep away from direct heat.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in your de Savary coat bag.
  • Do not dry clean

Leather

  • Keep dry; avoid rain and never submerge in water
  • If wet, blot gently with a dry cloth and air dry.
  • Do not apply stickers or adhesive labels
  • Use leather wipes to remove light marks
  • Hang on a padded hanger in a cool dry place to maintain shape.

Mongolian Sheepskin

  • Keep dry; avoid rain and never submerge in water.
  • If wet, blot gently with a dry cloth and air dry.
  • Keep away from intense or direct heat.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in your de Savary coat bag.
  • For a complete clean send to dry cleaners that specialises in Mongolian Sheepskin.

Wool

  • Keep dry. Avoid wearing in the rain to maintain shape and fabric quality.
  • Keep away from direct heat.
  • For light clean and maintenance, gently use a lint brush and shaver.
  • Blot spills immediately to remove moisture.
  • Store in cotton garment bag with good ventilation.
  • For a complete clean send to dry cleaners.

Faux Fur

  • Keep dry. Avoid wearing in the rain to maintain shape.
  • Keep away from direct heat.
  • Spot clean only with a damp cloth.
  • Do not apply heat, tumble dry, or dry clean
